Viruses have become the single largest threat to a network's stability.
A network without proper antivirus will simply not work reliably.
A typical plan would include virus checking at four different levels.
Examine the following diagram top to bottom and you can follow the levels of antivirus in an
organization. Antivirus typically starts at the perimeter in the form of an appliance,
then moves to the mail server which scans each inbound and outbound email for infection.
From here the server itself has an antivirus package installed locally to scan its files. Lastly,
each desktop has antivirus. All of these steps are necessary for a company
that is looking for maximum protection against viruses.
We have implemented countless antivirus solutions from many vendors such as Symantec,
McAfee, Sophos, Panda, and Trend Micro. At the appliance level, we have worked with many
vendors such as Sonicwall and Barracuda.
Please browse through the following list of some of the implementations we have done for our clients.
- Setup of enterprise-class network-wide antivirus
- Installation of small-business antivirus solution
- Setup antivirus appliance for antivirus and antispam
- Setup of dedicated Linux email server as a filtering gateway
